Jasjote is a Senior Associate, and has a strong background in law and ethics in the health and life sciences sector.

After qualifying as a Solicitor in 2010 with a specialist health and social care law firm in England, Jasjote went on to pursue roles spanning research, service delivery and advisory work across Europe, including France, Germany and Austria, always at the intersection of health, law and ethics. Her experience encompasses private practice, academic institutions and public organisations.

 

Jasjote was previously a Research Fellow in Biolaw at the Centre for Ethics and Law in the Life Sciences in Germany, focusing on domestic and comparative health law, policy and practices, and lending her expertise in the context of transnational scientific research projects. Most recently, she served as a Legal and Ethics Specialist at BBMRI-ERIC, a European biobanking research infrastructure, where she was responsible for developing and delivering ethics and legal services for biobanks and biomedical researchers across Europe, and providing guidance on a range of ethics and legal matters, as well as serving as an Ethics Reviewer for EU-funded projects.

 

Jasjote holds a Law degree from the University of Warwick and Masters in Ethics from the University of Strasbourg.
