Jasjote has a strong background in Law and Ethics in the health and life sciences sector.

Having initially qualified as a Solicitor in 2010 with a specialist health and social care law firm in England, she went on to acquire experience across Europe, including France, Germany and Austria.

She has worked in both research and service provision, spanning private practice, academic institutions, as well as public organisations.

Jasjote was previously a Research Fellow in Biolaw at the Centre for Ethics and Law in the Life Sciences in Germany, focusing on domestic and comparative health law, policy and practices, and lending her expertise in the context of transnational scientific research projects.

More recently and in addition to her work at LDMH, she serves as a Legal and Ethics Specialist at BBMRI-ERIC, a European biobanking research infrastructure, where she provides legal and ethics support to biobanks and biomedical researchers, focusing on education.

Jasjote has a Law degree from the University of Warwick and Masters in Ethics from the University of Strasbourg. She has also undertaken postgraduate studies in Art & Science at the Applied University of Arts Vienna, as well as training in legal design, bringing a holistic skill set to the table.
